VGA Thoughts

Well Saturday was the annual Spike VGA's and I couldn't give a rats ass about it because all of the winners are picked by retarded people who know absolutely nothing about video games, they just pick the most popular one so they get more viewers and get more money. BUT, the one good thing about the VGA's is that they happen to show trailers and teasers about new upcoming unannounced games coming out in the next year or so. Here are a couple.

Star Wars the Force Unleashed 2:

Did they really have to make a second one? didn't starkiller DIE in the first game? not like fake die, like ACTUALLY DIE. How the hell are they supposed to show him surviving? or better yet if they are going with the alternate ending as the REAL ending why was that called an alternate ending? Is Darth Vader dead? if so that makes no sense. I don't see this one having any story that makes sense, and most likely gonna be a rehash of the gameplay from the first one with a few upgrades.

Medal of Honor:

Well I'm glad to see the franchise is back with a different setting than WWII. But it seems that FPS's are leaning towards becoming MW2. My opinion a game that really shouldn't exist because the first one is perfectly fine. Anyways, this might be good but seeing as its a franchise that hasn't had a hit since the first Medal of Honor, I'm not expecting anything remarkable with this new entry.

Batman Arkham Asylum 2:

Eh I never played the first one, but from the trailer this actually looks pretty good. Not sure if i'll ever play the first one, but definitely look for AA2 to be another hit alongside the first one.

Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands:

Are games becoming like movies? Will games get to a point where its just gonna be remake after remake after remake? yes i know this isn't a remake, but its continuing a story that already ended. Hell, there were THREE GAMES ON IT. Now we need another one? trailer looks very unpolished and not very appealing to me. But you never know what Ubisoft will do.
